I have finally gotten ahold of the pictures from my Winter holiday and am excited to update the blog. My camera was stolen a couple of weeks before I left, so I couldn't upload things as soon as I got home. Sorry for such a long delay. November was my last post? Wow. These are the last few pictures taken on my beloved, long gone iPod.
The view from the Ferris wheel.
The Christmas market in Brussels was not like anything I had seen before. Complete with ice rink, Ferris Wheel, carousels, and a huge and interesting market, in the other places I visited, it was unrivaled.
A "croustillon" (a cross between funnel cakes and donut holes) shop.
Wire men, hanging in the streets.
A Greek festival in a nearby square, with lots of dancing and music.
Grand Place was especially lovely, with a daily light show (with a classical music accompaniment) and a manger with live sheep.
Grand Place
Beautiful.
